Private school parents fundraise to stop closure
Parents are attempting to raise £400,000 to save Bishop Challoner School in Bromley, Southeast London which is due to close at the end of the academic year, the BBC has reported.
On 12 June, the school’s board of trustees confirmed the closure of the Catholic independent school for children aged three to 18, just over a third of whom have special educational needs and disabilities.
