Pupils to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe

A group of 13 to17 year-old pupils from Embley in Romsey, Hampshire are performing at the Edinburgh Fringe next month in a play they have written and composed themselves.

They will be performing ‘Wilde’, which tells the story of Constance, wife of Oscar Wilde which will be performed from 1 to 9 August at the Space @ Niddry St.

Embley is a co-educational day and boarding school for children aged two to 18.

The pupils form the Tír na nÓg Theatre Company and have secured support from Oscar and Constance Wilde’s only grandchild, Merlin Holland, and the Wilde estate
