Wellington College to open school in Nigeria
Wellington College International has announced it will open a school in Lagos, Nigeria in 2027 to deliver the English curriculum to up to 1,500 pupils, Tes has reported.
The school will teach pupils aged from three to 18, offering day and boarding places and delivering the English national curriculum up to A-level.
The school is being built in partnership with construction organisation Rendeavour.
Wellington College currently operates in China, Thailand and India.
Wellington College stated that the Lagos campus will include “state-of-the-art teaching facilities, a performing arts centre and extensive sports facilities”. It will also focus on artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship.

Wellington College is a co-educational public school for boarding and day pupils located in Crowthorne, Berkshire.
