Jaideep Barot

Bristol Grammar School’s headmaster Jaideep Barot has been elected chair of HMC for the 2024/25 academic year.

HMC is a professional association representing the heads of more than 300 independent schools in the UK and Ireland, as well as almost 50 more around the world. Between them, HMC schools are responsible for educating more than 270,000 young people. HMC is member-led and advocates for better education policy and good practice, provides training, induction and professional development for heads and staff of HMC schools, and provides a quality ‘kite mark’ for independent education.
