Hampshire school opens wellbeing hub

Highfield and Brookham School has opened a dedicated wellbeing hub, known as The Beehive, Sussex World has reported.

Highfield and Brookham is a nursery, pre-prep and prep school in Liphook, Hampshire catering to boys and girls aged two to 13.

In the past year, the school has dedicated time to its children’s mental health by holding ‘weekly wellbeing workshops’, the success of which the school says prompted it to develop its own wellbeing centre.

Highfield and Brookham’ head Suzannah Cryer said: “The care and wellbeing of our children is at the heart of everything we do and we take our pastoral responsibilities incredibly seriously. The initiatives that we have rolled out in recent times have been well received and recognised by our pupils, staff and the school community as a whole, and the introduction of our lovely new wellbeing hub really signals our intent to ensure that the mental health and wellbeing of our children remains a top priority.”
