Education provider Inspired Learning Group (ILG) has acquired Yateley Manor School.

Established in 1947, Yateley Manor is a co-educational independent prep school for children aged two to 13 years located in Yateley in Hampshire.

Following the deal, Yateley Manor will receive significant investment in enhancing the school’s facilities and professional development opportunities, according to a statement.

ILG will be working closely with Yateley Manor’s headmaster Robert Upton and his team. The school will officially become part of ILG on 1 July.

ILG comprises 20 independent schools and nurseries, caring for and educating more than 2,500 children aged from three months to 18 years within the UK. The company is led by chief executive Amit Mehta, alongside an advisory board chaired by David Tidmarsh.

Mehta said: “Through being part of the ILG family, Yateley Manor School will benefit from the sharing of best practice and the latest teaching techniques to help deliver the best possible teaching and learning for its pupils.”
