Cognita is rebranding two of its existing schools as Alleyn’s schools to leverage the curriculum and reputation of the Dulwich-based co-educational independent day school and sixth form.

The deal will see North Bridge House Regent’s Park Preparatory School become Alleyn’s Regent’s Park for children aged four to 13 from September.

In addition, North Bridge House School Hampstead will open a junior section to add to its nursery, pre-prep, senior and sixth form divisions, to become Alleyn’s Hampstead in September next year.

Cognita is investing in the development and renovation of the Hampstead and Regent’s Park school campuses, including providing a new pastoral care centre, as well as tech studios for the provision of Alleyn’s tech and ethical skills curriculum.

Jane Lunnon, head at Alleyn’s School said: “We are thrilled to be expanding north of the river with the opening of Alleyn’s Regent’s Park and Alleyn’s Hampstead. Both schools already have an incredible energy and commitment to developing the mind and heart of every child with creativity, aspiration and joy.

“Children at Alleyn’s Regent’s Park and Alleyn’s Hampstead will benefit from our holistic approach to education. We will also be sharing our ethical and practical tech curriculum, the AiQ, a pioneering course which explores the powerful and exciting connections between traditional IQ and AI. It develops an ethical, technical and creative understanding of AI and teaches our students how to flourish and adapt AI tools for lasting good.”
